Anyway, that was my long introduction into why I had such a long break before I posted anything again. But, I did do some things off of my 30 days to 30 list. Quite a few actually!
Okay, first one, I missed writing about it before, buy a stranger's dinner. Once upon a time I was grabbing lunch through the Taco Bell drive thru when the car in front of me paid for my 7 dollar meal. I thought to myself, well that was sweet I better pass on the love. I told the cashier that I would pay for the car behind me and handed her my card. She said, are you sure? Their total is 22 dollars? How do you back out of that!!! Ummm, no Ma'am I am actually too big of a cheapskate and will not be okay with that. I paid for their meal and felt good about it none the less. Well I wanted to repeat this scenario, but at a restaurant instead. My friend was getting married and having a bridal shower at a local restaurant and I thought to myself this is the perfect time to do this. She had some bridesmaids coming from out of town and I knew one of them didn't have much money (she had spent quite a bit on the plane ticket and dress). I decided I would buy her dinner! It was exactly what I wanted to do and it felt really nice because I could actually see it happen this time.
We love to eat, love it. I especially like to eat out. One of my goals was to eat at a new restaurant. Problem with loving to eat out so much is that I had been to most of the restaurants in town. Lucky for me a new one just opened up this month, Smiling Moose Deli. It was delicious and I have already been back again.
Sticking with the food theme, I also took Kaydin to the farmer's market. She had a blast running around looking at all the pumpkins. She also got to taste test a few things, including a carrot. Girl loves carrots. I hope to make it more of a regular thing this next summer.
I love to do my hair, but I am quite lazy about it. I do ponytails about 99% of the time. Doesn't mean I don't like to get pampered, right? So, I decided to let my dear-old-friend-hairstylist do whatever she wanted to my hair. She did and I actually really like it!
I deserve to be pampered, I am a hard working lady with lots of STRESS (not really, but it helps plead my case). I got my first massage on the day before my wedding. It was glorious. I haven't had many since, but I wanted to get a 30 minute one. The theme here is 30, trust me 60 minutes would have been even nicer! But, 30 minutes did the job and my back thanks me for it. I should really do it more often. I also got a pedicure, these I do more regularly. I miss when my dear-old-friend-hairstylist was in school and I could get cheap pedicures from her. I used to go every other week for awhile, I was very swollen with 'ye 'ol baby in my tummy. I love to get them and, again, should do it more often.
Last one! Alex told me to sleep in until 10 for part of my 30 days till 30. I was off this last Monday and thought I will do it then! Nope, woke up when Kaydin woke up, let Alex get her and closed and squeezed and willed my eyes to put me back to sleep. Never happened, it was a good effort though right?
There's my time in a nutshell. I gotta get moving on this list. It's almost my birthday already!!!!

Well said, Missy. I'm glad that you were able to pamper yourself this following week. You are a very busy girl and you deserve it!
